Christian Faur The Crayon Artist

Christian Faur, an artist from Granville, Ohio has developed a new and weird art creation tool and actually is not that unusual for many artists. He uses Crayons to create his art, now you will say that I'm crazy because I think this is weird but he uses crayons literally to build his art.

Actually, Christian uses thousands of colored crayons as pixels to paint faces or objects. His creations are really amazing thinking about how much time he spend on only one piece of art but he still thinks about the passion that he feels when he create them, the passion that leads him to a greater piece of art every day.

My earliest memories of making art involve the use of wax crayons. I can still remember the pleasure of opening a new box of crayons: the distinct smell of the wax, the beautifully colored tips, everything still perfect and unused. Using the first crayon from a new box always gave me a slight pain. Through a novel technique that I have developed, I again find myself working with the familiar form of the crayon.

As an artist, his thoughts are deeper than an ordinary man so he thinks that the study of nature and the time he has spend in nature has determined him to developed this art style.

The originality of his art has made quite an impression over the world but he's still modest and dedicated to his work.

You can read more about his work and see his art on his official website ChristianFaur.com .
